A creator of sounds and textures starting from the silence. His sound could be work like an anagesic while you´re lying in the sofa...but sometimes like a rabble-rouser on the stage or wherever you can´t stop dancing. Electronic sound which cames to join you...somethimes forever. European cities have already known him, both his musical releases and live acts.Ten years of working are behind him and now he still can´t leave his most important passion: creating music. He´s known as Resonance,the name behind Javier Pérez Rodríguez, a spanish electronic composer and producer who started his musical activity at 90´s with synthetizers and experimental noise sounds sources. Working with Drone Collective (Croma festival organizers) expore the most experimental side of electronic music sharing his own vision of dance sounds to develope intelligent techno, techno trance, minimal tech and electro sounds and released a few tracks including in compilations like “Electronica autor” (The love corporation 2006) or magazines like Future Music or Trax-Beat.In 2005 realised his debut album “Hedonist series 01” on CD (Br producctions 2005) with lots of great feedbacks reports on electronic spanish press magazines and radio.In the end of 2006 he became a member of UVDOG RECORDS(EE.UU-Barcelona) with releases on Beatport.com for digital download, and a 12” vinyl called “Cutting Lips Ep”.Themes like “Doplex” or “Neon Cooper Gain” have been on Beatport´s Techno Minimal top 100!! At the same time he was collaborating with Suma Records and other artists from europe. Also, Resonance has years of experience at playing live performance across differents events and spanish clubs, like Low club(Madrid) “Magma Festival”(Tenerife) ,”Croma 05”..., Siroco club(Madrid), Be Cool (Barcelona)Cathedral Fluo (Milano)...sharing stage with artist like Darren Emerson,Nick Warren,Justin Martin,Berg Sans Nipple or Sutekh... At the beginnig of 2009 releases the E.P “Pouring rain and leds” (Humano Records-Intergroove 2009) which contains two tracks where the artist creates a mixture of dance avant-garde minimalistic sounds and his peculiar trademark sounds. This work had the collaboration of the photographer Dani Dune, who designed the cover inspired by the Resonance´s new music and getting sinergy between music and images. After other releases for europe´s labels composed his first soundtrack for the documentary “Arquitectura y paisaje patinable” directed by Oliver Berhmann and Aitor Padilla wich was proyected in the Second Bienal of the Canary Islands (Artchitecture,art and landscape) in differents venues and afterwards Resonance´s music was played in the Tv documentary about The Bienal of the Canary Islands with other artists such as John Cage and David Sylvian. Currently his lastest proyect is a little German tour with “Delay Tv”, the Vj proyect of Oliver Berhmann and Chris Lohre, which will allows them to play and perform in a few German cities next summer.
