Fernando Ledesma, aka Dancelwerk has an association with music that spans many years working under various aliases, Modular, Omen, Fullmoon, and Fractal 303. Born in Santa Cruz, Tenerife he is a musician of self-taught formation and passion constantly investigating and experimenting in textures and rhythms pushing electronic music further towards the dancefloor. As a key part of electronic music in the Canary Islands and Spain he founded the independent label KINDERSONIC.

His interests and influences stemmed back to the ever-growing nu-wave synth and techno pop in early eighties. Artists like Visage, Yazoo, Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Juan Atkins, Kraftwerk, and the Human League all left a lasting impression. In the middle of the eighties he focused his attention on the new emerging European electronic and Industrial Techno scene. Bands like Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Front Line Assembly and Skinny Puppy were all pushing musical boundaries and the doors were open.

At the end of the eighties he bought his first synthesizer, a Yamaha SY55 and started writing. The early nineties saw the release of his first demo and was a turning point in his career producing House, Techno and Breakbeat. With the purchase of two Roland Drum machines, a TR-909, R8M rack, as well as a analogue Roland Juno 1 he launched his first E.P in 1995. Trip to Happiness under the pseudonym of Fractal 303 with Heya Records, was followed by other five releases. XTC-Fullmoon, Spheroid and Hypervelocity. (1995-1997) Speed Trance and Tomorrow never Knows as Omen (1998-1999), 2002 saw another change in direction as he left his other projects and created Dancelwerk. The ethos of Dancelwerk was the philosophy of expressing ideas and concepts with musical freedom.

December 2004 saw the Dancelwerk project come of age with the launch of his critically acclaimed CD album Hedonist Series.00 (due for re-release and remixes 2006). Idm, Minimal and Techno House with influences delving into the past, present and future of all things electronic.

The Spanish Musical Press had much to say and praised the album which led to him playing at some of the biggest outdoor festivals such as Electrosplash and Magma in 2005, placing him on the same bill as Tiefschwarz and John Tejada. With a busy schedule of live European dates, releases and remixes this is one guy to watch out for!!

Another label, Siruis Pandi (BEL), choose Dancelwerk’s Services to open the first reference of the label, “Hellow Fellows”, another hit played for numerous DJs of the world. “Integrated” and “Noises” releases reach first positions in the charts. Dancelwerk leaves Sounderground and sign with the San Francisco label Uvdog, to launch three releases more, “Rotary”, "Partículas Elementales Vol.1" y "Partículas Elementales Vol.2" in 2007 and 2008. Dancelwerks leaves Uvdog to create again another own label, Tecnoism Data, only for his own productions.
