Project: El dorado (Iraqi soundscape)
Eldorado : Iraq 2017 is an experiential, anthropological and cognition system based on three-dimensional virtual reality. It enables poetical and emotional experimentation for the participant and permits a new approach on human studies through immersive and interactive learning processes. As a traveller, the occidental participant discovers unknown soundscapes whereby they can only relate through their own emotional processes and interpretations. The oriental participant could interact with some of the langages spoken in the recorded spatialised sounds that they will encounter whilst walking on the platform. This territory is Iraq at a time of global warming. The sounds were recorded all around the country before the rise of Isis, in 2012 - 2013. Through a Unity3D gaming system we can now enter the unconscious and subjective memory and meteorology of a territory, its complexities and populations semiotics expressed before a civil war, untranslated.

This site is a dynamic website which interacts with itself. The dumb users are pawing at Mac OS Hot Keys. This sites shows the duality of the representation of dumb intuitive interaction as well as the constant drive to optimize use, increase speed and efficiency.

At “Beautiful Knowledge,” an exhibit marking the Fulbright Program’s sixtieth anniversary in Israel, an installation entitled “Bright” uses heavenly spheres to represent connections between the scientific data produced by Israel’s Fulbright scholars, as each article serves as a star around which its citations gravitate. The tens of thousands of articles and citations were provided by Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services.

Project: Visual words
Conflict between writing and image is ancient. At present, there are many evidences that a return to the image is needed. To find analogies between language and visual information is important. If it has been possible to decompose language in elements and structures, why not with images? Using computer vision models I propose the "visual word" as a new material for creation.
Starting from a collection of images, an algorithm finds analogies between them and is able to cut and group them according to their visual content. New images are thus generated from the analyzed set. The total visual words of each image collection generates a visual vocabulary. I work with artificial vision in the "visual word" as new artistic material for creation.
This project is being developed as a resident artist at the Roca Umbert Factory of Arts in Granollers (Barcelona)
